PLATE SQUAT

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Shoulder-width stance

  • Hands around outside of plate held to chest

  • Hips descend back and down

  • Immediately press plate out upon descent

  • Hips descend lower than knees

  • Lumbar curve maintained

  • Heels down

  • Knees in line with toes

  • Complete at full knee and hip extension plate returns to chest
