Scott Ryan

Scott is an East coast guy born in Lowell, MA and raised in Pelham, NH. He spent his childhood and time throughout high school playing any and all sports he could. His major focus was Soccer and Baseball, but spent most of his offseason snowboarding. Scott attended New England College in Henniker, NH. Here he studied and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology in 2010 with an emphasis on Biomechanics.

Scott was a two-sport collegiate athlete attaining multiple awards for soccer over the course of his career, including Rookie of the Year, MVP honors, as well as the colleges Pilgrim Award for outstanding leadership. The biggest obstacles Scott faced were his injuries during his playing career. He has had multiple ankle and leg fractures as well as surgery to repair tendons he damaged playing. This would eventually lead him to his passion for injury prevention and coaching. This is one way he relates to his athletes who have suffered serious sports injuries and are looking to get back to optimal shape.

Scott has spent time coaching for Sea Coast United Soccer Club’s U-18 Boys Premier team and worked as a coach and player for New Hampshire Phantoms. Here he coached all ages from U-6 to assisting and playing with the Phantoms Pro team.

Scott moved from coaching in New Hampshire to Massachusetts where he began his post college education interning with the New England Revolutions pro soccer team and Physical Therapist, Athletic Trainer, and Strength Specialist, Ara Sakayan. Scott has spent the last decade honing his craft as a professional coach. He has spent countless hours studying many areas of fitness including Applied Functional Science, Strength and Conditioning, CrossFit L1, Olympic Lifting, to name a few.
